I am currently working on updating Coach Murphy's website. If there is anything you are looking for that I have not added to the store please let me know.

This Chalk Talk is for coaches to communicate with each other.

This is a trial run to see if it is something coaches like.

Coach, in your opinion what does the Double H system give you that the Shotgun Wing doesn't and vice versa?

The Double H-Back is a new formation that can be used in the Shotgun Wing. It is a little more powerful. It can also allow you more success with slower athletes.

Coach what are you doing to deal with RPO's in your Cv3? With the one that leaves some seams that RPO guys love to take advantage

We just slow play the backer. It mostly elicits the give and the backer that slow plays the exchange just gets on his hoarse and hustles after the give. Has not been an issue.

How do you teach the physical and visual key read to your DT and NG? Are they looking at visual read after contact with physical read?

Coach,
Would you speak some on how you practice fast, and communicate plays in during a game?

I just purchased your 4-4- swarm series and have 2 questions

1. I play a 4-4- and have always had ISLBs take on blocks with the inside shoulder as we funnel and do not spill (Fairly traditional). I like your idea of having them play inside out...BUT-If the G base blocks or if a running back leads on an iso it seems having the ISLB go inside out leaves an easy outside cut for the ball carrier....There is nobody there to make the tackle if the LB goes underneath the block and misses

2. You seem to like to spill but discourage a defensive end wrong arm tech.....Is there a reason for this. Seems like the wrong arm goes well with the spill theory.

Thanks
